Process analysis

The following slides depict certain processes which will be performed within PWI. These processes are the basis for extending the web application.

Motivation

• It is planned to extend the web application written by EICT to provide a basis for the demo in December and for the Panlab Office
• Due to the fact, that there is not much time left until the demo, EICT analyzed the required processes and simplified them as far as possible
• As a result the attached diagrams were created

General Notes

• New functionalities (compared to the current state/web app) are highlighted with a
• Notifications are sent out as eMails

Planned work (for the web application until December)

• Implement processes according to the diagrams
• Introduce a notification subsystem for sending notifications
• Let providers specify their own terms and conditions
• Introduce an additional step to the booking of a testbed and automatically generate contracts to be singed before a binding booking
• Automatically generate certificates for PTMs
• Integrate rating system for resources

Work left

• Fully integrate the VCT tool and the repository
• Automatically deploy scheduled testbeds
• Automatically check availability and connectivity for test beds
• Migrate all data sources (Teagle, web app, ...) into one database
